Assessment of Business Effectiveness

"How to improve which side of our business?"

Business effectiveness assessment is to evaluate a company's operations and business results in an extensive, systematic and organized way by means of benchmarking on the basis of a business excellence oriented model. In Turkey, this model is designed as “The EFQM Excellence Model”.

Through assessment process, organizations determine their strengths and areas of improvement, start improvement work and review their plans by continuously monitoring the progress.

Business effectiveness assesment is an effective learning tool for companies in their journey to Total Quality Management. It is a perfect tool to assess the progress an organisation has made so far on its way to Total Quality when compared to other organisations. It has many benefits such as taking into consideration the realities about the organization instead of personal perceptions, providing in-depth information about the overall picture, comparing what has been achieved against the organisation's strategies and those of other organizations, combining daily operations with improvement activities and continuously reviewing the ways of doing business and finding new ways for doing it better.

After Assessment

Business Effectiveness Assessment process identifies improvement opportunities in various fields such as leadership, employees, customers, environment, procedures and business results. Immediately after the completion of this process action should be taken to start the improvement work. Especially, if the increase in the expectations of employees cannot be met through concrete steps, the company will suffer instead of achieving benefits.
